PACKAGE OF THE CULTIVATION OF PRIZED VARIETY OF RICE ROJOLELE IN SANDY AREA WITH

A HIGHLY EXTREME CONDITION

 

 

I.                  THE PACKAGE OF FERTILIZING TECHNOLOGY

 

1.1. Inorganic Fertilizer

In the forms of granule and powder, it contains the elements of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S, etc.

Example: Urea, ZA, TSP/SP, KCl, and Dolomite.

Application is by spreading around the cropping media.

II.               THE PACKAGE OF FERTILIZING TECHNOLOGY FOR THE CULTIVATION OF PRIZED VARIETY OF RICE ROJOLELE (per Hectare)

 

2.1.      SEEDLING

2.1.1.   Seed Treatment

Ø  Dry seeds of 20 kg in the sun for ± 1 hour.

Ø  Dissolve the Formula III NASA of 80 cc in 40 liters of water.

Ø  Soak the seeds for ± 12 hours in a solution of the Formula III NASA.

Ø  Put the floating seeds of rice away.

Ø  Leak the seeds of rice, put them into the sacks coated by banana leaves, cover closely, keep up in humid places.

Ø  Shut off the seeds for 2 – 3 days till they begin to shoot.

Ø  It is ready to spread the shooting seeds around.

 

2.1.2.      The Processing of Seedbed in the Sandy Area

Ø  Prepare the area of 200 m2 in wide for the area of 1 ha.

Ø  Prepare the sandy area by hoe for the cultivation of 20 cm in depth, 1.2 m in width, and flexible in length.

Ø  In order to be flat, surface bed should be water-passed previously.

Ø  Place plastic as bed, put sand into the hole till the depth of 20 cm.

Ø  Upper surface should be flat, so it needs to be water-passed also.

Ø  Spread the macro fertilizer around:

Urea                                  =  2        Kg

ZA                                     =  1        Kg                   The fertilizer is

TSP                                   =  0.5     Kg                  mixed, then spread

KCl                                   =  1        Kg                 evenly around the

Dolomite                           =  1        Kg                 seedbed.

Formula II NASA           =  0.25   Kg                  (Make the fertilizer

 watery, then being

 poured out.)

 

Ø  Left the area of cultivation for ± 7 days before the seeds begin to spread around.

Ø  Keep the condition of water always sufficient (less water).

 

2.1.3.      The cultivation of seeds in seedbed

Ø  Spray the Formula III NASA of 7 hss, 17 hss in age.

Dosage                  : 30 cc / tank (14 liters)

Application           : at the morning of 07.00 – 10.00 am,

  or at the afternone of 14.00 – 16.30 p.m.

Ø  Seeds are already to be moved up into the cultivated area of 21 hst in age.

Ø  Keep the condition of seedbed always with less water ( ± 1 cm )

 

 

 

 

 

2.2.         THE PROCESSING OF SANDY AREA

2.2.1.      The Processing of Sandy Area

 

Ø        Prepare the sandy area by hoe for the cultivation of 25 cm in depth, 2.3

m in width, and flexible in length.

Ø        In order to be flat, surface bed should be water-passed previously.

Ø        Place plastic as bed, put sand into the hole of 20 cm in depth.

Ø        Upper surface should be flat, so it needs to be water-passed also.

Ø  Dosage of bed fertilizer : ( 7 hst )

Formula I NASA            : 250    kg             

Urea                                :   20    kg                        The fertilizer is then

ZA                                   :   26.7 kg                        spread evenly around

SP-36                              :   13.3 kg                        the cultivated area.

KCl                                 :    20   kg

Dolomite                         :    20   kg

Formula II NASA           :    25   kg

 

 

Ø  Dosage of the supplementary fertilizer I of 21 hst in age        

Urea                               :   20     kg

ZA                                  :   26.7  kg                        The fertilizer is then

            KCl                                :   20     kg                        mixed, then spread

            Formula II NASA          :   12.5  kg                        evenly around the

                                                                                            cultivated area.

 

 

Ø  Dosage of the supplementary fertilizer II of 40 hst in age

Urea                               :   17.5  kg                              The fertilizer is then

ZA                                  :   23.3 kg                               mixed, and spread

KCl                                :   17.5 kg                               evenly around the

Formula II NASA          :   12.5 kg                               cultivated area.

 

 

Ø  Dosage of the supplementary fertilizer III of 65 hst in age

Urea                              :   17.5  kg                           The fertilizer is then

ZA                                 :   23.3  kg                           mixed, then spread

KCl                               :   17.5  kg                           evenly around the

                                                                                              cultivated area.

      

Ø  Application of the Formula III NASA is started when the crop is at the age of 10 hst with the interval of 10 days a time.

Ø  The control of pest and crop disease is adapted to the field condition.

Ø  Keep the condition of water alway sufficient (less water) during the rice cultivation.
